We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Software / Electronics Engineer with experience in Industrial IoT systems to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing connected control systems, including hardware and software components. The ideal team member can design and assemble novel prototypes, integrate motors and feedback systems, and connect industrial controllers with sensors and microprocessors. You are effective at working collaboratively and independently, can self-manage and are willing to fully own the projects you are responsible for.

What you’ll do:    

  • Work on product development of cutting-edge large-scale additive manufacturing and 3D printed construction

  • Contribute to R&D of prototype systems for Space applications

  • Design and develop connected industrial control systems, including hardware and software components

  • Assemble and test prototypes, integrating motors, feedback systems, and other components

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that designs meet requirements and standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise

  • Provide technical support and training to other team members

What you have:    

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  • 5 years of experience in industrial control systems design and development

  • Strong knowledge of software development languages, including C++ and Python

  • Ability to work with existing codebases

  • Experience with industrial IoT protocols, such as MQTT, CoAP, and EtherNet IP

  • Familiarity with industrial automation and control systems, such as PLCs and SCADA systems

  • Experience with industrial robotics, ROS, and the RAPID programming language is a plus

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
